Imperial jasper is a real stone largely found in Mexico, but this particular bead is man-made or synthetic imperial jasper. The bold purple is stunning, however, and immediately caught my eye. This particular bead was drilled twice, making it unusable to string, so I wrapped it as I would a cabochon. I tried to mimic fabric with the wire coiling and draping around the frame, softening the look of this piece.
The pendant is made with enameled copper core wire, which means you won't have to worry about tarnishing as time passes. Please remember that jewelry should not be stored in direct sunlight and should be kept out of water if at all possible.
Due to the nature of monitors and screens, the color may vary slightly in real life.
