Rutilated Quartz stones are magical. They almost appear otherworldly with their unique patterns. The spikes and spears of color you see in this stone come from another type of stone being "captured" by the quartz as it forms. They often appear in sunburst patterns and can come in a range of colors depending on the type of inclusions found inside.
